Update May 11, 2007:

The original reason I started the Foundations section of this website was to answer questions that I received over and over again.  Topics tended to be about the Classic Palm, the Muscle Pass , where to start with Bobo’s etc.

With the increased availability of custom crafted gaffed coin sets, I have been receiving questions with more frequency about what type of gaffed coins should I get?

I have added a 7 topic essay to help you make your decision about gaffed coins that covers the following:

What type of gaffed coins should I get?

1.  What type of gaffs?

2.  What size coins?

3.  Silver versus clad?

4.  What are soft coins?

5.  What is re-edging?

6.  Should I get an expanded shell set or unexpanded shell set?

7.  Do I need custom crafted gaffed coins?

Enter the Foundations Section to read this essay.  Enjoy.

Update May 5, 2007:

It's been a few years since I added a new coin video.  I figured it was time to share something new.  Check out The Coin Change Chalice:  in the Videos section.  It is a magical chalice that turns all the coins inside to whatever coin was last placed in...

Update April 27, 2007:

Update January 18, 2007:

In my last update in September, I alluded to a new routine that I am releasing in eBook form.  I am happy to report it is ready to purchase.  The routine is called "CAPLOCATION" it is an un-gaffed evolution of John Kennedy's Translocation using bottle caps.  Click HERE to read more about it and view a demo video.  For ordering, visit the Products section of this website.

Many people have complimented me about the Classic Palming teaching that I provide in the Foundations section of this website.  If you are still looking for more material to teach the Classic Palm, a new DVD has been released through www.themagicbakery.com by Reed McClintock that deals exclusively with this technique.  Click HERE to find out more.

Upcoming items:  The New York Coin Magic Seminar Volume 2 - on Copper/Silver coin routines (a 3 DVD set) is supposed to be released in the near future.  I hope to provide a review on it when it is released.  Stay tuned...

Update September 27, 2006:

Sorry for the lack of updates so far this year.  Things have been pretty crazy in real life this year.  I do however want to pass on some exciting news...

First of all, go to www.homerliwag.com and watch the trailer for his new DVD, CoinOne.  Secondly, after you watch the trailer, go to the shop section of his website and buy it.  I have not seen the DVD yet, but just look at that trailer!  It's AWSOME!  This DVD contains two routines.  The first is Homer's routine published in Chris Kenner's hard to find Magic Man Examiner originally entitled "Four Coins and a Filipino."  As a bonus, Chris Kenner performs and explains his great coin routine, The Deep, from his book, Totally Out of Control.

If any of you liked my "Coinvention Crossing" routine, you need to definitely buy Homer's DVD.  The one move I use of visually tossing a coin from one hand to the other, only to immediately see it never went is directly out of Homer's routine.  It looks incredible in his hands.

Also... Mike Gallo has three new DVDs out in the marketplace now.  Head to www.newyorkcoinmagic.net and click on Mike Gallo's product page, you can buy them directly from him.

Lastly, I have a new routine coming out in eBook form.  I plan on releasing it in October, so keep your eyes peeled...
